Over the past year, I’ve been secretly working on my second cookbook, TONIGHT. And I’m so thrilled to be able to finally tell you about it!
TONIGHT is now available for pre-order in Australia, US, UK, Canada and New Zealand. When you pre-order, it means you have secured a copy and it will be delivered to your door on the release date: 15 October 2024 in Australia, 17 October in the UK and 29 October in the US (we are working on closing the gaps!)
Why pre-order? Well, it means you have secured a copy and you get it on release date so you can start celebrating and cooking with me, immediately! 🙂 Also, it did become a bit difficult to find copies of Dinner, first cookbook, leading up to Christmas due to low stock levels. Even I struggled!

TONIGHT is very special because it is designed specifically to provide recipes that you can make tonight, with whatever you’ve got on hand, no matter how rushed you are, catering for all budgets, tastes and levels of cooking. There’s 150 brand new recipes, plus 800 variations on those recipes and 3,000 possible combinations using mix-and-match formulas!
Some dinners can be cooked in 20 minutes, and others can be made using only pantry staples – make dinner right now without going to the store! For high-impact guest-impressing, turn to Sunday Suppers while the Sweet chapter delivers on the promise of maximum decadence with minimum fuss.
There’s a chapter filled with recipes using just one-pot/tray, an entire chapter dedicated to my beloved stir fry sauce, Charlie. And my ultimate cheat sheet for how to roast (almost) any vegetable – plus 25 different ways to serve them – is now permanently stuck on my fridge.
But the chapter I am most excited about is My Favourites Made Easier which is filled with midweek versions of some of my favourite dishes. Aussie Meat Pies on Monday night. 20 minute Hainanese Chicken. Fully loaded Burritos made using just one pot, a one hour luxurious stew, and a dump-and-bake Satay Chicken which I’m betting will be the single most popular recipe in the whole book.
And – Dozer! It wouldn’t be a book I authored if there wasn’t plenty of Dozer throughout the book. There have even been whisperings that I only made this book as an excuse to shamelessly flaunt him….I plead the fifth!
I’m so proud of TONIGHT. I hope you and your family enjoy cooking and eating from it as much as I loved making it! – Nagi x
